How to Apply for EEOICPA Benefits

The application process can feel overwhelming from the outside. Here’s what it actually looks like, step by step — and which parts we handle for you.

Step 1: Employment verification

We help confirm and document where you worked and when, which is often the hardest part for people to piece together on their own, especially for jobs decades in the past.

Step 2: Filing your claim

We help you file with the Department of Labor, connecting your work history and diagnosis to the right part of the program — Part B, Part E, or both. If your case needs an Authorized Representative for a more complex claim or appeal, we connect you with one who works on contingency, meaning they’re only paid if you are.

Step 3: Getting your White Card

Once approved, you receive a White Card. This is what unlocks your medical benefits — 100% covered care for your qualifying condition, no Medicare, no deductibles.

Step 4: Accessing care and family caregiver pay

With your White Card in hand, we help set up in-home care and, if applicable, get your family members approved as paid caregivers. See how family caregiver pay works →

What EES does vs. what you do

You don’t need to know the DOL’s forms, deadlines, or terminology. Our job is to handle the paperwork and the process. Your job is to answer our questions and let us know what you need. There’s no cost to you at any step — we’re compensated directly by the Department of Labor.
